Investment Criteria
Aran invests in companies that:
- Operate within established growth markets, we have neither the resources nor inclination to develop nascent markets
- Are in sectors that we understand so that we can quickly evaluate the opportunity and can provide immediate value
- Generate cash and are profitable, or on track to reach profitability within 18 months
- Provide synergy with existing portfolio companies
- Offer multiple exits in under five years with likely returns of five times or higher
- Are valued between $10 million and $500 million; and
- Located in the United States, China, India or other attractive emerging markets.
