Aran invests the firm's capital, as well as capital raised from outside investors, in established corporations, operating assets and leveraged buyouts. Located in offices in Asia and North America Aran professionals leverage our long-standing relationships with companies, investors, entrepreneurs and financial intermediaries around the globe to source investment opportunities. Aran typically acquires majority stakes in smaller portfolio companies. By investing alongside other private equity and debt sources with whom we have strong relationships we are able to acquire companies and assets valued in the $10 to $500 million range.

Aran Ventures does not seek to become involved in the day-to-day affairs of our portfolio companies, although in an early stage company we tend to be involved with key hiring decisions, major changes of strategic direction, and company positioning. Aran's principals take an active role on the board and assist in identifying, negotiating, structuring, and financing follow-on acquisitions. Aran Ventures serves as the lead equity sponsor, providing or arranging all necessary financing to enable the company's organic growth and to facilitate accretive acquisitions.
