Aran structures and executes capital market transactions for:

Our primary objective is to assist clients to maximize shareholder value by optimizing their capital structure (see Financial Advisory) and thus minimizing their cost of capital. To help clients meet this objective, our investment bankers employ a corporate finance driven approach to valuing, structuring, marketing and placing minority and majority private equity, bridge and mezzanine issues. We maintain active relationships with numerous nigh-net worth individuals, U.S. and foreign institutional investors, including major venture capital and investment funds, regional and money-center commercial banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and companies seeking strategic joint ventures. These sources invest in instruments such as common stock, preferred stock, senior, subordinated, and convertible debt.
Aran's principals have experience in utilizing a variety of financing techniques including securitization, project financing, sale-leasebacks, off-balance sheet and mezzanine structures. Aran's experience with our investor contacts and understanding of their investment objectives, areas of interest and transaction processes often enable us to quickly deliver multiple financing alternatives to our clients on attractive terms.
Strategic investors often represent attractive sources of capital. Frequently, large companies seek minority investments in growth companies in order to gain competitive benefits. Such investments are made in order to gain access to new technology, expand distribution channels, develop additional vertical markets or expand geographically. Aran's principals have many years experience in arranging strategic investments for middle-market companies and individually have completed transactions in a wide variety of industries.
