Investment Criteria

Aran invests in companies that:

• Operate within established growth markets, we have neither the resources nor inclination to develop nascent markets;
• Are in sectors that we understand so that we can quickly evaluate the opportunity and can provide immediate value;
• Generate cash and are profitable, or on track to reach profitability within 18 months;
• Provide synergy with existing portfolio companies;
• Offer multiple exits in under five years with likely returns of five times or higher;
• Are valued between $10 million and $500 million; and
• Located in the United States, China or the middle east.
